Description

Remember them? Its Miles and some other fancy name! (Cloud idk, I am bad with names). But anyways this is when Miles falls because REASONS. Cloud is freaking out because, well, something just shot past him at a very fast speed. I wonder if Cloud will see him when Miles hits the ground. hmmmmmmm.

I am pretty happy with this picture, but I still think I could do better. Constructive criticism is always appreciated! (psst you should totally critique thiss)

Sorry for not responding to comments, had a busy week. Going to have one next week and then I am going to have much more time!

As I always do with critiques:
As a fan: OMIGOD STOP BEING SO GOOD AT ART PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR TALENT
As a critic: I have to say, I'm having a hard time finding something I don't like in this picture. Your anatomy is great, and the shading is gorgeous. In vision, it's simply beautiful.
However, it would be silly to leave a critique saying ONLY good things, so I will be incredibly nitpicky. When it comes to originality, I know it's hard to make a completely original picture, so I hated doing this. But the whole Light/Dark, Rise/Fall, Ying/Yang thing is somewhat overused. The way you pulled it off, on the other hand, was great.
As for technique, the entirety of this piece is wonderful, and your lineart and shading techniques all come together beautifully- except one little thing that bothers me, and that is their tales. Every other part of these wolves has stunning detail, but the tails seem to have less shading and while they certainly aren't bad, they feel somewhat like the part of the picture that doesn't quite fit.
Finally, impact. I'd say you did an astounding job here, because this picture is incredibly compelling. It makes me wonder who they are, what they've been through- and in the end, I think that's the best thing about art.
